これは美味しいジスクールです。
フルボディと言う言葉が似合うワインでした。
適度な熟成感も出て来て今飲み頃です。枯れた良さが出るには15年は待つ必要があるでしょう。
色も深く濃く、このワインの味を物語っています。若い頃のジャーミーさは薄れて、酸も綺麗で飲んでいて楽しいワインです。
最近ハズレの無い、ボディーのしっかりしたワインを作っていると思います。
まあマルゴーらしさ・・華奢な感じは弱いですが、安心して買えるマルゴーのトップシャトーですね。
昔から人気があるのが頷けます。

これはジスクールの偉大な成功作だ。この有名なシャトーが1960年代、1970年代に享受していた栄光を取り戻させたエリック・アルバダ・イェルヘルスマは並はずれた仕事を続けている。
スタイルの点では1990年をしのばせる。
2003年は、ブラックベリー、カシス、甘草、樹皮、土の特徴を持つセクシーな取り合わせが、層状になった、豪勢な、官能的なスタイルの中にある。幅のある、広がりのあるワインで、酸は弱く、ブドウの完熟感や強烈さは途方もない。すばらしいワインだ。
2000年の兄弟分（1975年以降で最上のジスクール）よりなおのこと良好なものとなるかもしれない。

Giscours should be taken seriously by consumers as the quality has been ratcheted up over the last 7-8 years. The deep ruby/purple-hued 2003 offers complex, evolved aromatics of wood smoke, chocolate, charcoal, black cherry jam, and cassis. Lush, medium to full-bodied, and broad, with low acidity, copious glycerin, and a layered, persistent finish (it lasts for 40+ seconds), this beauty can be drunk now or cellared for 15 years.

A powerful, broadly textured offering, the 2003 exhibits an inky ruby/purple color in addition to a sweet nose of camphor, melted licorice, smoke, black cherries and cassis. It is dense, powerful, yet at the same time harmonious, elegant, and pure, with wonderful sweetness and a voluptuous mid-palate and finish. It requires cellaring, but it possesses the stuffing and power to last for 15-18 years. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2020.

This is a great success for Giscours, and a continuation of the extraordinary work being done by Eric Albada Jelgensma who has been resurrecting this famous estate to the glory it enjoyed in the sixties and seventies. Reminiscent of the 1990 vintage stylistically, the 2003 is a sexy concoction of blackberries, cassis, licorice, tree bark, and earth characteristics offered in a layered, opulent, voluptuous style. Broad and expansive, with low acidity as well as tremendous ripeness and intensity, this stunning 2003 may be even better than its 2000 sibling (the finest Giscours since the 1975). Anticipated maturity: 2007-2020.
