I think a lot of Robert saying he wasn't going to work out or exercise etc was a bit of his humor and trolling the naysayers... He has come back and seriously said, he's not bulking up... A young batman doesn't quite know what he needs yet to be successful. He said he does run a lot and he does martial arts training. He said thats more believable of a younger batman, than say Bat-fleck where he's older, he's mature, he already knows what it takes to be batman. Which makes sense. Everyone needs to realize Pattinson is the type of actor that isn't just going to show up, put on the suit and go. He is going to research everything, he's going to get in the mind of this age bruce wayne/batman. The corruption, the murders etc etc... He's full of rage and he doesn't quite know how to control it yet. just like a typical really pissed off 20 something who found out most of their life was a lie. I think that's whats going on here w/ him from what I have heard. Which I love this idea. And let's remember the amazing Paul Dano is playing the riddler... As soon as I heard that casting. I was 1000% in on this batman.

This would be an awesome trilogy dealing with the riddler, court of owls and possibly Lincoln march.

Combat feels too similar to its predecessor IGN - 6/10.
This could be a good Batman movie. Only time will tell. We all know though that Christian Bale in the The Dark Night Series though is the best so far. Kilmer, Clooney and Affleck can't even compare to Bales Batman. Only one can imho, Keatons Batman. Campy as the movie was, his performance is on par with Bales.
