ジュブレシャンベルタン・ジュンヌロワ2005（ジャンテ・パンシオ）
ユーロカーブの特別仕様品安いですね。我が家の2台のセラーはどちらも10年選手で、いつ壊れてもおかしくないので、買い換えたいのですが、いかんせん先立つものが‥。次の給料日まで待ってもらえれば、私も買いたいのですが、それまで残ってなさそうですねぇ。このところ、ジャンテパンシオを買うことはあっても飲む機会が全然ないので、05年はまだ早いかな、と思いつつも、セラーにあったこの銘柄を飲んでみることにしました。中心に黒みがかった濃いめのルビーですが、決して暴力的に濃いわけではなくて、エッジにかけてピンクの鮮やかなグラデーションを形成しています。香りがすばらしい。カシスやブラックチェリーなどのコンポートや丁子、ナツメグ系のスパイス、黒土、鉄サビ、それに毛皮などの獣っぽいニュアンスも見られる豊かな芳香で、これだけで元をとった気分いなります。味わいは、かなり低めの温度で飲み始めたためか、最初やや乾いたタンニンが目立ちました。時間と共に果実味が前面に出てきますが、時期的なものもあるのか、やや果実味が迫力に欠けるのと、2005年にしてはグリップに乏しいのが気になりました。翌日、香りはやや減衰したものの、味わいは果実味が前に出てきました。全般にもう少し果実味に旨みとか甘みとか、官能性が欲しいところですが、まあ村名ですからね。期待しすぎるのも酷というものでしょう。ジャンテパンシオは基本的に好きな生産者ですが、ビンテージによってキャラクターがかなりブレるのがちょっと気になります。村名級にしても、以前飲んだ00、01年などは癒し系だったかと思えば、02とか直近の08などはやたら濃厚な味わいでした。今回飲んだ05はどちらかというとエレガント路線でしたね。CP的にも村名クラスで5kを越えてしまうとちょっと厳しいかもしれません。Burghound.com 88-90An expressive nose of wonderfully fresh and bright red fruit nuanced by touches of underbrush, earth and wet stone leads to rich, sweet and full-bodied flavors that are obviously concentrated though supple and I like the detail and texture of the finish. Worth a look.、eRobert Parker.com 89From a parcel just outside Brochon, the Geantet-Pansiot 2005 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Jeunes Rois offers aromas of bright cherry fruit with sauteed mushrooms and chalk dust. Concentrated and compact on the palate, with persistently tart, fresh cherry, impressively mouth-coating if a bit marked for now by both its acidity and slightly austere tannins, this seems to ask for at least 3-4 years in bottle.Vincent Geantet as usual bottled well before year’s end, and his wines seemed to be having a particularly expressive, fruit-filled day when I tasted. Interestingly, much as he bottles all of his wines together, so, Geantet’s barrel regimen is the same regardless of appellation: one-third each of new, one-year and two-year wood. He prolonged the pre-fermentative maceration to eight days, which seems to have enhanced the brightness of fruit exhibited by these wines. I must say I did not come prepared for quite such an impressive collection as that which Geantet delivered.
