４日目がもっとも好印象〜シャブリ2023（ピエール・ド・シャブリゾー）The fourth day left the best impression Chablis2023（Pierre de Chabliseau）
うきうきさんの福袋銘柄。昨年も一つ前のビンテージを飲んでいる。想像以上に美味しい〜シャブリ2022（ピエール・ド・シャブリゾー）新しいVTにしてはあまりグリーン系の要素が感じられないイエロー。どちらかといえば麦わらっぽいニュアンスすらある。初日は香りもたたず、味わいもぼんやりとしてかなりネガティブな印象に終始していた。ところが、小瓶に残したものを翌日開けてみると、黄桃やグレープフルーツ、ミネラルなどの香りが立ち上り、味わいもよく冷やしたのが功を奏したのか、熟した中にも締まりのある果実味が心地よく感じられるようになった。明らかに初日より２日目の方が美味しいと感じるあたり、開けたては少し還元状態だったのかもしれない。ただ、全般にこの銘柄、シャブリというよりはマコンのような南方系と勘違いしそうな味わいで、いわゆる冷涼感があまり前面に出てこないのが少し残念だ。そもそも２K台で売られているボトルなので、多くを望むのは酷かもしれないが。小瓶に残した四日目→期待せずに開けてみたら、レモンっぽい果実味と伸びやかな酸がさらに前面に出てきて、よりバランスのよい味わいになった。間違いなくこの日の香味が最も良かった。New Year Lucky bag item from Ukiukki-Wine shop. I also drank the previous vintage last year, and had so-so impression.For a new vintage, this yellow wine doesn’t exhibit much of a greenish hue—in fact, it almost gives off a straw-like nuance. On the first day, it left a rather negative impression overall, with neither much aroma nor clarity in flavor.However, when I opened what remained in a small bottle the next day, aromas of yellow peach, grapefruit, and minerals emerged, and the flavor—perhaps thanks to being well-chilled—revealed a pleasant fruitiness that was both ripe and focused. It was clearly more enjoyable on the second day than on the first, suggesting that the wine may have been in a slightly reductive state right after opening.That said, this wine overall leans more toward a southern, Mâcon-style profile than a classic Chablis. It lacks the typical cool-climate freshness I would expect, which is a bit disappointing. Then again, considering it’s a bottle sold in the low ¥2,000 range, it might be unreasonable to expect too much.Day 4 – from the small bottle:I opened it with low expectations, but the lemon-like fruitiness and vibrant acidity had come forward even more, resulting in a better-balanced flavor overall. Without a doubt, the aroma and taste were at their best on this day.
