Remember this film being banned due to the recent shootings taking place across the US. I was slightly disappointed at not seeing this as I only heard about it when it got banned back in August last year. It was also then that I saw a trailer & thought it looked good.

So with a film being surrounded by much controversy due to it's political theme, I had to see this I wouldn't have been nearly as excited had it not been banned temporarily & given a new poster & marketing campaign to capitalise on the controversy!

The film follows a group of victims who are put into a Hunger Games like situation & are being hunted by some corrupt division. They have no idea how they got there or what is going on, but something doesn't feel right. br>
I found the film to be pretty epic for the most part, it was very graphic & gory. I really liked the rawness of the film. The fights, the kills, the corruption etc. The film did have a couple of left wing snipes, but also had some right wing ones too (I was aware this film was going to be politically oriented.

The ending was a bit weird & I did find the plot to be a tad messy at points, like the motivation wasn't entirely clear. 8/10.
