mum, I look wired!
Ok, this morning, our 9 yo to be daughter, MUSUME, was looking into a mirror.10 seconds, 20 seconds,,one minute....?and finally said, "Mummy---! I look wierd!"I was busy putting on a thick make up on my stuffy face, but showed some concern to her and said, "What do you mean you look WIERD???"Musume: "I don't wanna have a short fringe anymore! I want my fringe long."So we have come to an agreement that she is allowed to grow her fringe againas long as she keeps it away from her face with pins.Last year, she had half of her face covered with such long fringe and looked like a ghost...Well, I realised that, "I look wierd." sounds native rather than saying "I look strange".which I used to say before...Luv!Salsa@Tas
