花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

3月16日、新しい駅名標がお目見えしたばかりの西武池袋線大泉学園駅とその周辺で「ねりたんアニメプロジェクトin大泉」が開催された。その一環で地元在住の漫画家・松本零士先生を大泉学園駅の一日駅長に迎え、松本先生の漫画で、大泉に本社・スタジオをを置く東映アニメーションがアニメ化した「銀河鉄道999」の登場キャラクター、車掌さんが同駅の名誉駅長に就任した。

僕は午前中に駅前のペディストリアンデッキで行われた2人の就任イベントをたくさんの人に囲まれながら見た。ここには我らが志村豊志郎区長も参加される予定だったが公務が重なってしまい来られなかった。
このイベントで松本先生は、故郷・福岡県では線路のすぐ傍に住んでいて、列車の「ガタンゴトン」という音は子守唄のようなものであったことや、福岡から上京する際に24時間かけて来たということもあり、列車好きだということを話してくれた。これが「銀河鉄道999」の誕生秘話だと言う。その後、先生の後ろにあった紅白幕の中から車掌さんとメーテルに扮した女性も登場し、車掌さんは先生から名誉駅長の襷を受け取った。今回、先生は実際に生きている（着ぐるみの）車掌さんを見るのは初めてなのだという。そして、駅の改札中には999号の展望車を模したスペースに車掌さんの人形が登場した。

イベント終了後、僕は会場の1つである東映アニメーションギャラリーへ向かった。東映アニメーションのスタジオの中にあり、入館は無料。今回僕は初めてギャラリーに入った。ギャラリーでは東映アニメーションがこれまでに作ってきたアニメのワンシーンや宣伝ポスターなどが展示されており、今日は特別に無料で宣伝ポスターを1枚貰えたのでもらってきた。
13:00、商店街会場と銘打たれた妙延寺でも松本先生のトークショーが行われた。話は朝に駅前で聞いたのに似たものだったが、聞いていておもしろかった。これを見て僕のイベント参加は終わった。

このイベントに合わせて、西武鉄道では特急レッドアロー、10000系がアニメ風の絵で描かれ、999号のように夜空へと走ってゆくポスターが掲出された。



今日のイベントは夜になってNHKの首都圏ニュースで放送された。


On March 16th, "Neritan Anime Project in Oizumi" was held around Oizumi-gakuen Station on Seibu Ikebukuro Line. On the event, a Japanese famous comic artist, Leiji Matsumoto, welcomed as the special station master, and the conductor, a character from his famous comic "Galaxy Express 999" as honorary station master at Oizumi-gakuen station. Though the mayor of Nerima-ku, Toshiro Shimura, also planned to come there, he could't do because of his another task.

I saw this ceremony at pedestrian deck in front of the station. And Matsumoto said that he lived near the railway when he was young in his hometown, Fukuoka Prefecture, train sound was like a lullaby, it took 24 hours from Fukuoka to Tokyo by train hauled by a steam locomotive, and he became a railfan, all of which made the world of "Galaxy Express 999". After that, the conductor and a woman wearing costume like a character in this work, Maete, appeared there, and he got the tasuki sash of honorary station master from Matsumoto. It is first time for Matsumoto to see the conductor's living doll. The figure of the conductor appeared on the station.

After the ceremony, I went to Toei Animation Gallery, which was first time for me to visit. In the gallery, it exhibits some screen cuts and posters of anime works made by Toei, and the visitors could get a poster on that day, so I got one.

At 1:00 PM, Myoenji Temple, Matsumoto's talk show was held. What he talked was similar to the one on the morning, but it is also interesting for me.

For events, a poster that limited express NRA flying to the night sky like 999 was shown at stations on Seibu Ikebukuro Line.
