「CLANNAD AFTER STORY」最終回にJR東日本キハ100系気動車が登場した。キハ110系気動車とは違い乗務員室入口が片側にしか付いていない点と、車長の短さでキハ100系だと分かった。さらにこのキハ100系はプラグドアではなく引き戸であったため、大湊線用の200番台と見ることができる。
キハ100系は東北の地方交通線で活躍する気動車だが、八戸運輸区（盛ハヘ）に在籍する大湊線仕様は5両しか存在しない。またしても京アニのレア車攻撃が来た。

On the last episode of "CLANNAD AFTER STORY", a Kiha100 Series appeared. I saw that the door to the cab is different from and it is shorter than Kiha110 Series, and the passenger's doors of this rolling stock isn't plug door. So I saw it to be the one on Ominato Line.

Though many Kiha100 Series are in service on lines in Tohoku area, only five carriages of this design. Kyoto Animation drew a rare carriage again.
