花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

NHKを見ていたら、柊瑠美さんが出ていた。彼女をテレビで見るのはもう久しぶりのことだった。

柊さんといえば、1999（平成11）年に放送されたNHKの連続テレビ小説「すずらん」。僕も「すずらん」で柊さんを初めて知った。北海道の小さな駅が舞台とか、C11が登場するということで時々見ていたが、見ているうちに柊さんに惹かれてしまっていた。印象的だったシーンはもちろん柊さんが雪で覆われた線路の上を歩いて、父親役の橋爪功さんに逢うため駅に帰ってくる場面。多くの人の印象に残ったシーンだろう。

「すずらん」以降は「千と千尋の神隠し」やラジオのパーソナリティとして声は聞くことはあった。しかし僕自身がテレビで見る機会はあまりなかった。久しぶりに見た柊さん、僕と同い年の1987（昭和62）年生まれだから、もう大学生なのか…。

On a NHK program, I saw Rumi Hiiragi appearing as the host. It's first time to see her in years.

I first knew her in 1999, when she was a child actoress. She played the heroine of a NHK morning drama show "Suzuran". I was interested in this drama because the main scene is laid at a small train station in Hokkaido and C11 steam locomotive sometimes appeared. But as I watched it I was attracted by her. My best memorable scene was that Rumi was walking on the snowy railway to go back the station to meet her foster father and the station master who Isao Hashizume starred.

After finishing this drama I sometimes heard her voice in Hayao Miyazaki's film "Spirited Away" and on some radio programs, but haven't had chances to watch TV programs where she appeared so much. As I haven't seen her she has grown up.
