花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

今年も5年に一度の国勢調査がやってくる。

その国勢調査の宣伝であるが、京都府のものがものすごく話題になっている。なんと「けいおん！」の平沢唯ちゃんたち「放課後ティータイム」の5人を宣伝キャラクターに起用したのだ。5人がしゃべるラジオCMは京都府のWebサイトでも聞くことができる。

「けいおん！」を活用した自治体としては、5人が通う学校がある滋賀県豊郷町が有名で、豊郷では2009（平成21）年から「けいおん！」を題材にしたイベントなどが開かれてきたが、メインの舞台となる京都府も彼女たちを起用し、少し遅いなと思った。5人が住む京都市をはじめ、京都アニメーションのスタジオがある宇治市、北近畿タンゴ鉄道が走る舞鶴市・宮津市・与謝野町・京丹後市・福知山市も京都府であるため、やはりというか「けいおん！=京都」というイメージが強い。

The city or town which is famous for the revitalisation using "K-ON!" is Toyosato, Shiga, where the model of their high school, Toyosato Elementary School, is placed. Since 2009 Toyosato town has held several events at the school. But on this time, Kyoto Prefecture, the main scene of this work, also uses them a little behind. I feel my image of "K-ON" is Kyoto because not only the work is set in Kyoto City, but the place of Kyoto Animation studio Uji City, where Kitakinki Tango Railway runs Maizuru, Miyazu, Yosano, Kyotango, and Fukuchiyama; those cities are all in Kyoto Prefecture.
