花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

3ヶ月ぶりに立川いずみちゃんを描いてみた。

4月に玉川上水駅で買ったいずみちゃんフィギュアは付属のカードと1998（平成10）年の開業時のモノレールの「営業のご案内」と一緒に飾っている。いずみちゃんのまぶしい笑顔は最近の僕の元気と癒しの素。かわいい…。

多摩都市モノレールという比較的近い路線の娘だけあって、AKB48じゃないけれど、なんだかすぐに会いにいけるような親近感を感じるところも好き。

夏休み中に1回くらい多摩モノレールに乗りたかったけれど、行けなかった。

そういえば、昨日17日の「ワールドビジネスサテライト」で立川のことやっていたな。多摩モノレール開通による交通網の整備、伊勢丹・高島屋・ルミネ・ecuteといった商業施設が充実していて、都心に行かなくても買い物ができる、発展した郊外ターミナル駅の代表例の1つだという。伊勢丹と多摩モノレールがテレビに映っていた時、いずみちゃんのかわいい笑顔が思い浮かんだ。

Her figure I bought at Tamagawa-josui Station on last April is put on my desk with the card belonging to it and the guide brochure in 1998, when Tama Monorail opened. Her smile makes me calm and cheers me up. Cute...

Because the monorail line runs not so far from my place, so I feel an affinity with her.

I wanted to go travelling with the monorail again in my vacation, but I couldn't.

By the way, on yesterday's "World Business Satellite", an economic news show on TV Tokyo, featured Tachikawa City, developping large department stores or shopping molls, such as Isetan, Takashimaya, LUMINE, and ecute, and the new traffic project. Besides, it is said that an example of big subuerb station where you can go shopping without going to metropolitan area like Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro. When I see the monorail train and Isetan building I remember her smile...
