花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

6月10日は「路面電車の日」。去年に続いて、それを記念した都電荒川線荒川車庫のイベントへ行ってきた。



9:15、僕が荒川車庫に着いた時、多くの撮り鉄達が会場前にもかかわらずカメラを構えていた。今回のイベントの最大の見所は、6000形電車6086号車、7000形電車7022号車、8800形電車8810号車、3両の「黄色い電車」が並んでの写真撮影会。昭和20年代生まれの6000形、昭和50年代車体更新の7000形、そして平成の8800形、3世代の都電車両が並んだ姿は、さながら戦後の都電の車両の進化を物語っているような雰囲気だった。6000形は去年、車庫奥のトラバーサーに載せられていたが、今年は晴れて主役の1両に抜擢され、他の2両とは違う輝きを持っているように見えた。







10:30から11:00まで、3両を至近距離から撮影できる時間帯になった。僕も3両に近づいて撮影した。3両には記念のヘッドマークが付けられていた。6000形と7000形はかつての都電全盛期の系統板をイメージしたもので、非常によく似合っていた。





6000形の行き先表示には、この日のために用意された、「路面電車の日」のほか、「早稲田」「三ノ輪橋」、さらにはなつかしの「万世橋」の表示が現れた。この先決して見ることができないと思われる行き先表示に、僕は高揚した。



車庫内にある「都電思い出広場」では、銚子電気鉄道、三陸鉄道、ひたちなか海浜鉄道の3社が出店していた。ひたちなか海浜鉄道の人に「湊線乗ってきました。」と挨拶した。





今年も車庫見学をしてきた。去年同様、行き先表示幕やモーター、検査中の車両の展示があったほか、菱形とシングルアームの2種類のパンタグラフが展示されていた。





奥のトラバーサーには、花100形が電車載っていた。今回オープニングセレモニーとして、花100形の登場が予定されていたが、諸事情により中止となってしまった。行き先表示には「東京都交通局 Day of Streetcars 2012」の文字が書かれていた。車庫内には、花100形に飾られるはずだったものと思われる、8800形の模型と、ヨヘロ1形、6000形、8800形が載ったケーキが置かれていた。







車庫には、先日誕生1周年を迎えた荒川線のマスコットキャラクター「とあらん」の姿もあった。昨年もイベントに姿を見せたのだが、僕は写真を撮ることができなかったためリトライ。


On June 10th, I went seeing the event at Arakawa Railyard to celebrate The day of Tramway in Japan.

At 9:15, many people already made lines to wait for shooting the three yellow-coloured carriages, 6000 Series 6086 made in 1947, 7000 Series 7022 refurbished in 1977, and 8800 Series 8810 made in 2009. 6086 had been on the traverser over the factory in 2011, but it became the main attraction and looked different in 2012. The fleet of the carriages looked like the history of Toden Tramway.

At 10:30 AM, the photograph time for the three carriages at point-blank range came. They showed front signs for this event. The signs, especially those of 6086 and 7022 copying the one used in the old-time, looked suitable to them.

The destination roll of 6086 showed the special ones for that day ("The Day of Tramway", "Waseda", "Minowabashi", and "Manseibashi", a closed stop). I got excited at the roll so much.

In "Toden Omoide Hiroba", the neighbour of the railyard, the stalls of Choshi Electric Railway, Sanriku Railway, and Hitachinaka Seaside Railway stood. I said hello to staff from Hitachinaka Seaside Railway.

In the factory, I found a destination roll and motors of an old carriage and carriages under maintenance and two pantographs.

Hana 100 was on the traverser. At first, the carriage planned to appear on the opening ceremony. However, it was cancelled. The destination roll of Hana 100 said "The Bureau of Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Day of Streetcars". I also found pieces of cake looking like Yohero 1, 6000 Series, and 8800 Series.

"Toaran", the mascot of Toden Arakawa Line, also appeared like the last year. I photographed him because I couldn't do last year.
