花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

僕が北陸3県で唯一足を踏み入れたことがない県が、「石川県」である。北陸の古都・金沢市を県都とし、市内に日本三名園の1つである兼六園や、昔ながらの町並みが残るひがし茶屋街など、観光地が多い。また、県内に片山津、湯涌、和倉などの有名温泉地をも擁している。中でも湯涌温泉は、2011（平成23）年に放送されたアニメ「花咲くいろは」の舞台として注目され、多くの観光客が訪れている。2015（平成27）年春までには、北陸新幹線長野駅～金沢駅が開業し、東京から金沢へのアクセスが格段に改善される。その一方で、北陸新幹線の開業で越後湯沢駅～金沢駅の特急「はくたか」の廃止の可能性が濃厚となり、今のうちに「はくたか」に乗って石川県へ旅に出かけたいと、予定を立てている。



東京から北陸3県への旅に便利なのが、JR東日本の「北陸フリーきっぷ」。上越新幹線と「はくたか」の往復と北陸3県のフリー区間内のJR線が乗り放題となる。フリー区間では普通列車はもちろん、特急列車の自由席にも乗り放題となる。

今回の旅の条件としては、「北陸フリーきっぷを使うこと」以外に、「兼六園などの有名観光地を押さえること」、「『花咲くいろは』の舞台となった湯涌温泉を訪れ、そこの温泉旅館に宿泊すること」、「同じく『花咲くいろは』に登場したのと鉄道に乗って、西岸駅を見てくること」としたい。


Where I haven't visited yet in the 3 Prefectures in Hokuriku area is Ishikawa. The biggest city, Kanazawa, has some famous sightseeing spots, such as Kenroku-en, one of the most three famous garden in Japan, and Higashi-chayamachi district, remaining the classical atmosphere in the Edo Period. The Prefecture also has famous hot springs, Katayamazu, Yuwaku, and Wakura, especially, Yuwaku hot spring district was pictured on an anime show "Hanasaku Iroha" in 2011, which draws many visitors to see the scenes appeared on the show. By 2015, the access from Tokyo to Kanazawa would be dramatically improved. However, on the other hand, it is said that the abolishment of "Hakutaka" limited express running between Echigo-yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture, and Kanazawa would come before the Shinkansen's open. So I really want to go travelling to Ishikawa with Hakutaka.

"Hokuriku Free Ticket"　sold by JR East is convenient for the travel from Tokyo toward 3 Prefectures in Hokuriku area, Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui. This ticket allows the round trip from/to Hokuriku area by Joetsu Shinkansen and "Hakutaka" limited express and an unlimited travel in the particular area spreading from Kurobe in Toyama Prefecture and Fukui in Fukui Prefecture not only with the local trains but also with non-reserved seats on the limited express trains.

I'm planning the travel not only to go with the unlimited travel ticket, but I'd like to see Kenroku-en garden and some famous spots, to see and stay in Yuwaku Hot Spring district, to travel with Noto Railway(not including the unlimited travel area) and see Nishigishi Station, which is also pictured on the anime show.
