花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

箱根湯本駅の3番ホームに箱根登山鉄道1000形電車1004Fが停車していた。しかし営業運転に就いていたのではなく、待合室車両としてホームに横付けされていた動かないものである。

2019（令和元）年10月の台風19号（東日本台風）では、箱根登山鉄道鉄道線（箱根登山電車）が、線路への土砂流入や鉄橋流出などの被害を受け、同線は箱根湯本駅～強羅駅間で運転を見合わせている。運転再開は2020（令和2）年秋頃を予定している。

箱根湯本駅構内にはこの1000形1004Fの他、モハ1・2形電車、2000系電車と3000形電車のコンビが足止めを食らっている姿が確認できた。

運休区間の手前の駅で身動きが取れない車両を見てしまうと、再び箱根の急勾配を力強く上る姿を見られる日を願わずにはいられない。


At Hakone-yumoto Station, Hakone Tozan Railway 1000 Series 1004F set which was an out-of-service and functioned as a waiting booth.

Because of the Typhoon Hagibis in 2019, Hakone Tozan Railway Hakone Tozan Line suspends its train operation between Hakone-yumoto Station and Gora Station.

Moha 1 and 2 Series sets and 2000 Series combined with a 3000 Series did as well as 1004F set.

While seeing the set, I wish those train sets restart to be their regular service again.
