“地下鉄のお嬢ちゃん”&“地下鉄の坊や” 浴衣で夏祭り

大阪市高速電気軌道（Osaka Metro）の引き込まれ注意ステッカーに描かれている“地下鉄のお嬢ちゃん”と“地下鉄の坊や”のイラストを。 今回は夏にぴったりな浴衣姿で、2人で夏祭りに出かけたイメージで描いた。お嬢ちゃんの浴衣姿は2021（令和3）年も描いたが、2022（令和4）年は前回とは違うセパレートタイプのものを着せてみた。そして彼女のおでこには、Osaka Metroの子会社、大阪メトロサービスが展開するポイントプログラム「Osaka Point」のマスコットキャラクター、オポたんのお面をコーディネートして描いた。一方、坊やの浴衣姿は初めて描いた。初めてだったこともあり、彼には一般的なタイプの男の子用浴衣を着せてみた。 浴衣の絵柄は、お嬢ちゃんのものは谷町線を走る22系電車からのインスパイアで花火柄、坊やのものは四つ橋線を走る23系電車からのインスパイアで市松模様をアレンジした四つ橋柄風に。 7月下旬は、大阪天満宮の天神祭宵宮・本宮祭や住吉大社の住吉祭という、大阪市内の神社の大規模な夏祭りが予定されている。2人も学校の夏休み期間中ということもあり、見に行くのではないかと、僕は想像している。しかし2020（令和2）年から続く新型コロナウィルス感染症（COVID-19）の蔓延によって、本宮祭では大川での奉納花火の打ち上げを取りやめるなど、これらの夏祭りも規模を縮小しての開催となっている。 2022（令和4）年の夏も、2020（令和2）年、2021（令和3）年と同様に新型コロナウィルス感染症（COVID-19）予防対策が必要だが、2人には楽しい夏休みを過ごしてほしいと、僕は思っている。 I represent an illustration of "Osaka Subway Girl" and "Osaka Subway Boy" from the mind-the-door sign in Osaka Metro trains wearing yukata. Last year, I also did one of her wearing a yukata. But this time, I chose a separate one. On her forehead, she also wears a toy mask featuring "Opotan", the mascot of Osaka Point service by Osaka Metro Service. By contrast, the yukata for the boy is the most popular type because it was my first drawing. The patterns on their yukata are fireworks for the girl and Yotsubashi checks for the boy. The two came after the interior design of the trains. The fireworks are inspired by the one in 22 Series on Tanimachi Line, and the check is by the one in 23 Series on Yotsubashi Line. On the last 11 days in July, the two big shrine festivals are planned in Osaka City, Tenjin Festival at Osaka Tenmangu Shrine and Sumiyoshi Festival at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the festivals have to shorten days or the number of events in recent years. In 2022, I wish for them to have a fun vacation.
