I passed the Eiken Grade 2 in my second year of high school, but I've heard that the Eiken has been revised recently. In particular, if you have a TOEIC score of 600-700 or above, there's no problem starting to study for Grade Pre-1. 3. If you just want to be able to speak, Grade Pre-1 is overwhelmingly more effective. Pre-1 is designed for English conversation, with speaking content at the "expressing an opinion" level, writing in essay format, and vocabulary ranging from everyday life to social issues. In other words, it's designed to rapidly improve your English conversation skills. 📘 So, isn't Grade Pre-1 too difficult? In your case, you already have Grade 2, your foundation has improved through TOEIC study, and you want to improve your speaking ability. Since you meet these conditions, Grade Pre-1 is the "just right challenge." Of course, the vocabulary may seem overwhelming at first, but covering the vocabulary for the Pre-1st Grade level will dramatically improve your English conversation comprehension, so it's actually a shortcut.
