I had a visitor from Tokyo.
I picked him up at the Morioka station,
and took him to "Rock Spliting Sakura-tree".
Flowers were partly gone but it was still beautiful.


The flowers will gone in couple of days.

Then I took him to the Morioka-park.
The park was a castle in the past, but there is only basements in the park.
Now many Sakura-trees were planted and it is one of the most famous place for Sakura-trees.

Behind Sakura-tree, you can see the basement of the Morioka-castle.




We walked around the park, but it started raining.
Since we didn't have any umbrella, we had to go back very quickly.


Some of the trees are very old, can be few hundred years old.


The other kind of Sakura, wearing stronger red color.

He had a reservation of hotel at the nearby hotspring.
I took him to the hotel and left him there.
I will pick him up at the hotel tomorrow morning.
I will take him to sight seeing tomorrow.
We are thinking of visiting "TONO" village.
The village is famous for old farm houses.
There are many famous fairy tales derived from the village.

"Zashiki-Warashi" is a one of the famous fairy in Japan.
"Zashiki-Warashi" literary means, a little girl in the dining room.
It doesn't do anything, just stay there to bring happiness to you.
Some people say, "I saw Zashiki-warashi" there.
Let's see if we can find her tomorrow.
