I thought I was watching a mediocre lifetime movie... I've actually watched better lifetime movies with my wife. lolz... I thought the acting was good... I love Nia and Omar. I kinda hate they wasted the opportunity of them being in a movie together with this SUPER predictable plot. I mean the idea was already a cliche'ish idea. But they made it even more cliche'ish with the plot. No twist no turns, no surprises... And honestly the ending was a TOTAL let down. I mean I could've come up witha better plot than this...
But i give it 4 because I love the 2 of them soo much. I hope they do another well written movie together...

I'm shocked Netflix even thought this was ok. BET I understand but Netflix hire more people who are diverse enough to IS NOT OK. We know 10 minutes in who did what and why they did later did it again. If you already have Netflix this isn't a waste because you already paid for it. Do some work with this in the background.

However this was the worst movie ever. The Hallmark channel dramas are less predictable than this one. Wow. Bad.

It's like this movie is living in reverse. The entire cast is black with great actors. The movie is based in San Fransico which has a population of 5% Black Americans. The average salary for a Black American in SF is 46k a year. White Americans' average salary in SF is more than double at 109k a year. SF has one of the highest cost of living in the US. The median listing price for San Francisco homes was 1.3 million for an average home. Ellie and her husband somehow can afford a multimillion dollar home with a private beach. You're trying to tell that 5% of the population with the lowest salary in SF are amongst the Elite? And it's not even just one person, its the whole cast who are millionaires. Not even a white friend or Asian friend (who are the richest in SF. I know what Netflix is doing, trying to be diverse, break racial barriers etc but at least make it believable is all I'm saying.
