Im surprised this was on Netflix and not passionflix instead. The ending was confusing to me. I had no idea there was a book and is there actually a sequel.

Storyline
Massimo Torricelli, a young and handsome boss of a Sicilian Mafia family, has no other option but to takeover after his father has been assassinated. Laura is a sales director in a luxurious hotel in Warsaw. She has a successful career, but her private life lacks passion. She is taking one last shot to save her relationship. Together with her bone-headed boyfriend, Martin and some other friends, she takes a trip to Sicily. Well, in the book-laura get kidnapped by “Nacho” (rival gang) gets shot, loses baby, starts drinking heavily, Massimo starts his old shady ways again, starts doing drugs, Laura leaves him for Nacho and she has a baby by him. Oh, and she get a heart transplant! Good lord! If they dont change some of this adaptation from book to the movie, I dont see ppl liking it. Its a sad and tragic tale, but what do you expect from the underworld crime life? A happy ending? Laura had a chance to stay in Poland, but the lifestyle of the rich and famous, won her over. and good sex) she couldnt go back to ordinary life if she tried. In my opinion, her fate is will live what? 10 years tops with that new heart, if shes lucky or she will die somehow from the lifestyle she has given herself over to. Did I mention that Olga married Dominico ? Yep! It seems both girls are lost forever to the dark side.
