A perfectly executed callback to the previous incarnations. Full of similar comedic beats but somehow fused with the more modern storytelling audiences expect today. Just like the first two Face the Music manages to make unusual plot and characters work.

First: The movie is an hour and a half long. If you liked the old Bill and Ted, go see it.
Second: I might understand why it didn't hit the same. Remember when B&T were fresh faced, optimistic, stupid but absolutely stoked kids? They are not anymore but they're trying. Because after attempting "the song" over and over for 30 years, they're discouraged. And *old. But thats why it's important to watch their journey in this movie. They're refreshed by the end. They're happy they can do right by all the people who believed in them and moved that their daughters are the new legacy. And for that- it was a good movie.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars was out of nostalgia. It worked brilliantly when they were in their 20's, but now it looks stale and at times cringe worthy. The Godfather Part III was a better ending to a trilogy than this.
I think we're getting bait and switched here. Guarantee most of this movie is gonna follow the daughters and be a halfassed reboot of Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey.
