Bohemian Rhapsody is directed by Bryan Singer, with screenwriting by Anthony McCarten, and produced by Graham King and Queen manager Jim Beach.

The movie stars Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, with Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers in supporting roles. Queen personnel Brian May and Roger Taylor are also involved as consultants in the film .

Bohemian Rhapsody Movie Synopsis
The movie begins in 1970, Farrokh Bulsara, a baggage handler at Heathrow Airport. He lives with his parents and sister.

After work, Farrokh Bulsar goes to the pub to see the band Smile perform. He met drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May and learned that their vocalist and bassist, Tim Staffell, had just quit to join Humpy Bong.

Later, Farrokh offered himself as a replacement singer and impressed them with his vocal abilities. Farrokh sought out Mary at Biba and they started dating.

Farrokh wanted more, he thought bigger and sold their van to finance the recording album. An A&R representative from EMI asked engineer Roy Thomas Baker for a demo.

Farrokh changed his name to Freddie Mercury and renamed the band Queen. They signed with John Reid, who booked an American tour. Paul Prenter, who was interested in Freddie, organized their daily schedule. An appearance on Top of the Pops gave Queen their first hit, "Killer Queen".

Freddie proposed to Mary but began to question her sexuality. In 1975, Queen recorded their fourth studio album, A Night at the Opera, making extensive efforts in recording Freddie's masterpiece, "Bohemian Rhapsody".

However, they dropped out of EMI when executive Ray Foster refused to release it as the album's lead single. Freddie inspired with radio DJ Kenny Everett to debut the song on his program. Despite criticism, "Bohemian Rhapsody" became a global hit, making Queen an international superstar.
