Duma  practices hunting in savanna by fighting with bees, frogs, and snakes.

One day, his brother Penda shows up.｢現れた｣ 

Duma takes Penda to the lodge and introduces him to Charo and Numtaka.

The next day, the brothers practice hunting, but Duma can't keep up with Penda.

Numtaka tells Penda that Duma is losing his will to live.｢生きる(気）力」

Penda decides to train Duma to hunt for real. 

Duma says goodbye to Charo and heads into the savanna to hunt.
