It is said that the Miyoshi Clan is descended from 子孫であるthe Ogasawara Clan, the military governors of Awa during the Kamakura period, and that the members of the Ogasawara Clan living within the province州,省,県、地方 of Miyoshi took their name from the land. The Miyoshi Clan動helped the目 Hosokawa Clan, 【which was active in the area around the capital】副mostly in a military capacity, then eventually grew to become the most powerful warlords将軍 in the area. During Nagayoshi's reign,治世their power extended as far as Awa, Sanuki, Awaji, Settsu, Kawachi, Izumi, Yamashiro, Yamato, Tanba, and Harima.Around the time of Nagayoshi's reign around the capital, head of the Awa Miyoshi Clan Jikkyu forced military governor Mochitaka to commit suicide, effectively 事実上making himself the true authority in Awa. In 1560, he moved to Takaya Castle in Kawachi at Nagayoshi's command, taking control of southern Kawachi and the Izumi area as well. Furthermore, in March of 1561 he became companions with Shogun Yoshiteru and thus became an even bigger presence: however, he was killed in the Battle of Izumi Kumeda in March of 1562.Nagaharu, who succeededの跡を継ぐ Jikkyu, was cornered by anti-Miyoshi forces backed by Hosokawa Saneyuki and committed suicide in 1577 at Nagahara (the town of Matsushige, Itano District): his successor後継者 Sogo then retreated to 退却するSanuki after Shozul was invaded by the Chosokabe Clan in 1582. This marked the end of an era for the Miyoshi Clan in Shozul, and at the same time marked the end of the town that had developed as the location of the military governorship of the Awa Hosokawa Clan and then as the war castle town of the Awa Miyoshi Clan.The Hosokawa Clan is a branch of the Ashikaga Clan, originating during the Kamakura period in Hosokawa Village, Nukata Distict, Mikawa Province (currently the area around the town of Hosokawa, Okazaki City in Aichi Prefecture).After rebelling 謀反を起こすagainst the Kenmu Restoration建武の新政, Ashikaga Takauji was defeated by Nitta Yoshisada and Kusunoki Masashige, then, on his way to Kyushu, deployed配置する his top general陸軍大将s to the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. Hosokawa Akiuji and Kazuuji were sent to Shikoku, where they entered Akizuki (currently the area around Akizuki in Tonari-cho in the city of Awa). When the Muromachi Shogunate 室町幕府came to power, Akizuki became the initial 初めのlocation of the military governorship of Awa; and while the Hosokawa clan worked to improve the area by building a temple, governorship was later transferred to Shozui.The Hosokawa Clan, military governors of Awa, were active mainly in the territories around the capital, with involvement関与、参加 in the politics of the shogunate as powerful side lineage血統 of the ruling Hosokawa main clan. However, a family feud with争う the Hosokawa main clan led to internal strife,不和 /内紛and the power of the Hosokawa family began to wane.衰えるIn 1553, military governor Mochitaka was forced to commit suicide by Miyoshi Jikkyu, and was succeeded by Saneyuki. In 1576, Saneyuki fled (fleeの過去逃げる)Shozui, and though the anti-Miyoshi forces of the Ichinomiya Clan and the Chosokabe Clan joined forces against the Miyoshi Clan, Saneyuki committed suicide in October of 1582 in Niu Valley without having gained any real power in Awa.にほんブログ村
