a comfortable vacation

Today I washed the large rug of the living room in the morning.
The large rug can’t machine-wash becase it’s too large.
So I washed it in the bathtub by my foots.
Few years ago I had this rug cleaned, but it was expensive and I’m pleased to see
the rug becomes clean when I wash it myself.
Seeing the water that turned brown in the bathtub, I realized it got dirty.
So I washed it hard by my foots.
Today it’s really hot. So I got a head rush.
I’m relaxed like being house wives.
I’m going my parents’ house in the evening.
By the way morning glories sprouted few weeks ago. Then they’ve glown every day.
They live hard even though they are in the hot my balcony.
今日は朝から、リビングに敷いている大きな敷物を洗濯。
洗濯とはいっても、大きすぎてとても洗濯機には入らないので、お風呂の浴槽にいれて
ジャブジャブ足で踏んで洗うのです。
数年前まではクリーニングにだしていたけれど、クリーニングに出すと高いし、自分で
洗うと何より、汚れがとれていることが実感できてうれしい。
浴槽の中の水の色が変わっていくのを見ると、あーなんて汚れていたんだろうって
踏む足にも力がこもります。
今日はほんとに暑く、立つとくらっと立ちくらみ。
家の中でのんびりと、専業主婦気分を味わっています。
夕方からは実家へ帰ります。
ところで、この前双葉だった朝顔はここまで大きくなりました。
照り返しの強い、うちのベランダでも頑張って育ってくれています。
