Their sour grapes further allows them to ignore the fact that Thanos - realizing the nature of the shield, cuts into it.

Ok so first off the movie is definetly worth watching as it can be fun and even epic at times. But for me and a lot of people it came off as very slow and bland aside from a few jokes here and there for the first hour and 45 minutes. First of all the whole tony and nebula thing at the begining felt like a waste of time considering they brushed over it and had capt. Marvel save them like nothing showing that that scene really had no purpose. Everything else up until they show thor is all good. But yeah once fat thor shows up it is like a kick in the nuts to thor fans. We always expect to see a massive epic thor entrance but to get this just really genuinly sucked and really shows that Thanos is not the most powerful of them all. But there are more ways that they could've nerfed him they didn't have to make him fat. Now moving on to the stone collecting scenes i understand why they did some of the things they did and some of them were smart little nods but these scenes just felt like they dragged on way too long as they feel like half of the movie. After collecting the stones is when the movie truly shines and the final fight is arguably one of the best superhero fight scenes to ever hit cinemas. It does feel like the epic conclusion to 11 years worth of films. But how they chose to end it with cap dancing with peggy is a bit underwhelming. So overall as i said the film is definetly worth the watch but i do not believe it is worthy of the 9.1 it got nor do i believe it is better than Infinity War or The Dark Knight for that matter.
