This is a touching film where four friends go on a journey through the woods and countryside to find the body of a missing boy. Throughout the journey, they learn more about themselves, dealing with adversities and friendship.

Set in 1959, this film gives off a wistful and nostalgic atmosphere of the good old and bygone days. Even if the four friends' goal is to locate a missing body, something that is no less ghastly, the plot's centering around the friends' bond and life challenges gives off a taste of innocence and courage. Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Jerry O'Connell all did an excellent job portraying the four friends, showing off their young-at-heart vibes but also showing that they're mature enough to face down life's adversities, from dealing with their dysfunctional families to standing up to a gang of punks headed up by a young Kiefer Sutherland.

In watching this film, you will feel sentimental, yet optimistic, and you will also feel a sense of adventure and humor where appropriate.

Great cinematography from Thomas Del Ruth, capturing a nice 1950's aura, and great direction by Rob Reiner, keeping the plot engaging and well-paced. This film really reminds you of the sadly bygone days of America's innocence, but also offers a ray of hope for the future generations. From the film's title to the song of the same name sung during the ending credits, this adds onto the very heartfelt drama this film offers and is a movie that one should see.
