という本を、リサーチの合間に読んでおります。
ご存知の方も多いと思うのですが、当職、慶應女子高出身なため(と学校のせいにしてはいけないのですが。。。)、世界史・世界地理に弱いのです・・・。
この本は、まだ3分の1くらいしか読んでいませんが、非常によく纏まっているように思います。
しかも、読み易いし、飽きません。
先日はDCを訪問していますし、今はボストンに住んでいる為、特にアメリカ独立の部分は、ちょっと興奮して読んでおります。
いやー。
やっぱり、アメリカを支えた人達って凄いなあ。
その勇気に感動して、思わず涙ぐんでしまっております。年かしら。笑。
