The climax of tea ceremony!
I did not know that at the end of the middle break,Nakadachi,a gong is rung. After nakadachi, the climax of tea ceremony comes. The next picuture is the popular tea ceremony! Now the host is making a thicktea!Tea is made by adding hot water to powder green tea, this time is really top rank, very thick green tea, matcha, and whisking it into water. Next photo is the communication between the host and guest. In Japanese tea teaching, there is a famous teach,"Ichigo iche!"This teach means that this is the only one chance when the host can meet guests.Host tries to welcome guests by extreme hospitality. Now the main guest,Shokyaku, asks questions aboutthe insturments of the tea ceremony.Host should explain about the insturments exquisitely.Thick tea is drunk by from 3 to 5guests,because thick tea is too thick for one guest to complete drinking. In drinking Thick tea,you must turn tea cup twice clock wise.In this tea ceremony, there are special performance of Utai, traditional Japanese song and dance! The last part is Usu cha, this is the thin tea.Why do we drink a thin tea? This is the aftercare of Thick tea! Drinking thick tea is the main part of tea cermony, therefore we enjoy a lingering impression of thick tea by drinking a thin tea. The essence of Japanse tea ceremony is the communication between the host and the guests at the only one chance.
