hey everybody, sorry for typing in english, yet im writing at lab as usual.it is pretty interesting how people are influenced by their environment in terms of developing or altering own personality. today, i bumped into one of club officers and had a talk about post-bac options. we are probably the match who could understand each other since both of us are international biochem students. i doubt that everything is wide-open for uc graduates, yet there should be still ample opportunities available. her interest has been under biotech. however, she also has some issues like marriage, visa, etc. the interesting point though was that she insisted she is not into going home (s korea). hmmm....i just wonder why. i wouldnt say she doesnt like it there, but she has something else here. honestly, i probably feel better to stay in the states too. it is obviously none of food, weather, nature, tradition, or perhaps people. in other words, japan is way more attractive. i cannot come up with any reasonable thought, yet i know for sure that i would be bored if stayed back in japan. it is easier, less stressful, and basically more comfortable. hence, i just cannot have 100% confidence to say i would like there better.....well, i dont even know which direction i was going to, but i could, at least, kill the time until my centrifuging is done. im about finishing maxi prep, so will be going home in an hour (after the rest of maxi and a260 for quantitation). anyway, drop me a line if you had some ideas or jokes.everyone has a good night. cloud nine,
