In the next step, this book shows four points of “the practical form to listen to English.”
1. We always should be conscious of sentence structures. 2. We always should catch English in bigger chunks. 3. We always should link each chunk to our own Japanese words or images. 4. We always should grasp the meanings from the beginning of sentences. Today, I checked my comprehension of the material which I could already do shadowing almost perfectly. After listening to every one or two sentences, I tried to compose what I understood in a few minutes. Then, I tried to explain them in my own Japanese words and recorded. As a result, I found I couldn’t link six chunks to my own Japanese words smoothly. Therefore, I made sure those meanings and tried to link those chunks to my own Japanese words again. From tomorrow, I will practice listening to the material in order to realize “the practical form to listen to English” not to understand it only in my mind. お気に入りの記事を「いいね!」で応援しよう
