My Mother's Birthday

Today is my mother’s 64th birthday. I’ve spent these four days with her after a year interval. We’ve enjoyed viewing a play, watching a movie, having dinner at a tofu restaurant and lunch at a French restaurant and window-shopping. Of course, we have enjoyed talking and talking with each other. My mother has always been busy devising various aids while considering each disabled person's condition for several years. Every time they thank her, she feels really happy. It’s one of her energy resources. I always think I’m young in spirit. My mother said, "I think I'm young in spirit, too". However, her action proves that she is still young not only in spirit... She came here and went back home with "青春１８きっぷ." She doesn’t care at all even though it takes more than four hours by local train each way. As she has another three "青春１８きっぷ," she has been enjoying making travel plans for the near future. In addition, as soon as she got home, she called me and said in a cheerful voice, “I will make a new aid from now!” I couldn’t believe what she had said. I hope she will be young forever like this!
