Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Brandon LaFell has two jobs this week: Play well, and give his team as much help as possible regarding Tom Brady's tendencies.

LaFell played with the Patriots in 2014 and '15, so it’s probably his job this week to relay back as many of Brady’s "tells" or weaknesses as possible.

That is, if there are any to exploit. cheap jerseys

In his 17th season, there’s not much left about Brady a defense hasn’t seen at least once. But there aren’t many defenses that have stopped him on a regular basis either. cheap jerseys

“Even his bad weeks he’s throwing for 300 yards, three touchdowns and their might be one interception, but the way Tom plays week in and week out it’s a high level; there’s not much drop-off,” LaFell said. cheap jerseys

LaFell may wear different colors now, but the respect for Brady didn’t leave when he signed with the Bengals. When asked if he played with the greatest quarterback of all time, LaFell said he’s one of them. cheap jerseys

“That’s an argument that can be made,” he said. “I definitely will say he’s one of the best to me.”

LaFell said he and Brady exchange text messages from time to time. LaFell texted him following both of their games on Sunday (Brady threw for three touchdowns vs. the Browns in his return from suspension).

LaFell is just one of the endless faces whom Brady has thrown to over the course of his career. The names and faces of the receivers didn’t matter so much to Brady if they did their jobs correctly. cheap jerseys

“He made sure you knew the plays, he made sure you knew where he wanted you to be at, and he was consistent,” LaFell said. “You knew, ‘As long as I’m in my spot, I’m going to get the ball. As long as I do everything right and I do what I need to do, I’m going to get the ball.’”

Added Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton: “He gets his guys the ball. Guys make plays for him. You can tell he’s got full control over everything they’re doing on offense. He’s so good because he gets all the guys to play for him, regardless of who’s in there. He’s won with a lot of different guys out there. That’s why he’s one of the best.”
