story: Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler) is a once successful New York gems dealer whose gambling addiction has left his family and career in shambles, and him hundreds of thousands in debt. Always looking for the next big bet, Howard thinks he finally hit it big when he discovers a rare uncut rock of Ethiopian gems, with a very interested high-profile buyer. But the closer Howard gets to finally winning big, the more he is forced to realize he cant keep running from the consequences of his actions.

This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen. Everyone is constantly yelling and talking over each other it's unbearable, it gave me extreme anxiety within the first 10 minutes. Save your money.
A24 and the Safdie Brothers are on fire! I have never been so emotionally invested in a movie since Hereditary which is another A24 masterpiece. I'm so proud of Adam Sandler and the other actors. This movie is almost perfect.

I like Sandler. He is good at goofing only.
This role is definitely not for him. His voice is breaking my ears as he can't talk without shouting all the time.
Terrible score as well. Scenes are jumping showing useless scenes.
Acting is overall bad.
Giving it a 2/10 is being generous.
In real life, someone like his character would not survive that long. I guess they need him to finish the movie.
