I watch this movie not less than 3 times. What a great movie.
I've seen a very mechanical Phantom in NYC once who went through the lyrics like a machine, it was another play.

The movie doesn't even come close to the chemistry and beautiful music of the live version.

I love how this has reignited my obsession with Phantom and captured so many new phantom fans... I've seen this on the stage a few times and viewing it this way has it's pros and u won't be able to capture everything that's going on stage at the same time BUT u get a close up of stuff that u may have missed by being so far back in the audience. Also, even though the music still gives me chills across the personal sound system, there's nothing like experiencing this live in tally recommend seeing this in person and having this on dvd/digital if u can.
