星とカワセミ好きのブログ

昔は家から東に歩いて1時間の池で、カワセミをよく見かけました。ところが止まり木が遠く、私のカメラでは上手く撮れず、写真は諦めていました。
今年の正月に、河川敷の林で鳥の写真を撮っている知らない人に声を掛けたとき、家から西に歩いて1時間以上の数か所にカワセミがいることを教えてもらいました。
早速、その内の1か所に行き、カワセミの姿をカメラに収めることができました。
その日の数枚をご紹介します。

最初の写真は、私が一番気に入っている写真です。
水に飛び込んだりしている写真ではなく、平凡に思われるかもしれませんが、顔の表情、横を向いた仕草が可愛くて仕方がありません。あの日、この写真を撮った時に、まるで魔法にかかったかのように、カワセミの虜になりました。
眺めていると、カワセミがますます好きになります。

I sometimes saw king fishers in a pond where I have to walk about one hour toward
eastern from my home. Unfortunately it was very difficult for me to take some photos of
king fishers because the perch of the birds is far from shooting location.

In this new year's holidays, when I greeted a stranger who took some birds pictures at
wooded area near liver bed, he kindly gave me very valuable information that there are
some King fishers habitats over one hours toward western by foot from my home.
I immediately moved to one of the habitats, I took many king fishers pictures easily.
I will show you some pictures.

The first picture is my best favorite one. This is not active but passive picture that you
think it is ordinary. But I love his facial expression, his endearing gesture turning head
away.　I was really taken with the beauty of King fishers as if I guided by masic when I
took the pictures.
The more I see them, the more I love them !
