Do you need a car?(車って必要?)
While cars are thought to be very convenient, most cars burn fossil fuels and cause pollution. We all know the fact, right? But can you stop driving a car? Do you really need a car?According to the article, car manufacturing also powers Japan's economy. Hopefully, the car industry will develop cars that do not emit poisonous gases. While this advance is taking place, cars continue to pollute. In addition, we have to consider the amount of space, time, talent, energy and money(which is very important to me) that is devoted to cars. However, using a car is necessary for me cos of my little son and where I live. When i lived quite near downtown before i got married, i never went to the central city by car. Because i had to find the place to park my car, which was expensive. But now i don't do without cars in my daily life. I think solar cars are the best and the most friendly to environment, but am still not sure how the cars work right now... ventilate = 換気する e.g)ventilate a room / be well ventilated-ventilator = 換気扇 curse = のろい(『デスノート』の話から・・・)hip & cool = trendyみたいな意味。 dated = out of dateみたいな意味。 cliche = 決まり文句・お約束の言葉gauge(=gage) = 評価・判断する e.g) to gage someone's statuscontamination = 汚染(物)・不純物・悪影響scrapyard = a place where machanized items are disposed of
