For a straight to video movie, this was great. The first good mortal kombat movie. In terms of plot, it was nothing special, it really just set the movie up to have lots of fight scenes, and it did. The action was incredible, brutal, and very gory. The fatalities were creative and inventive, and the x-ray shots were really cool. Voice talents were cast perfectly. The movie sets itself up for sequels, and I cant wait. Better than most of the DC animated movies. Have high hopes for this new wave of MK films. 75 minutes of fun wild action.

OMG. BEST ANIMATION EVER. the actions and script is amazing. i really loved each frame of it. biggest fan of MK Game already bought MK11 Since it's first released, the voice of scorpion is EPIC. close to Kratos from god of war. same scream lol. can't wait for next version of it.

Gory, violent and fast paced animation. Fans of MK games will truly appreciate this. Unfamiliar viewers will also be entertained undoubtedly.
Fun fact: the director of this also directed some Last Airbender episodes and worked on Legend of Korra. The resemblance of action sequences is uncanny!

Scorpion's revenge is a retelling of the first Mortal Kombat game, upon which the first live action film was based. However, it delves more into Scorpion's background and how he came to be the undead vengeful spirit / yellow ninja that fans have come to love. It's every bit as gory as you'd expect and then some. This animated film isn't for the squeamish. You'll see plenty of evicerations, decapitations, impalings, and nonstop blood and guts. This isn't a kiddie cartoon by any means, nor should you expect it to be. The animation and A-list voicework was superb. Warner pulled no punches here.
