The Shining was the first horror movie I ever watched. I was 8,and it scared me for weeks after watching it lol that was the start of my love for horror.
So the overlook from the shining was itself a steam eater all along - all the ghosts were remnance of the people who could shine. it used jack torrance as a means to get danny but failed. if thats true this movie is a lot more important than people realize. debate time.

I just watched the movie and it is AWESOME! I hope people appreciate it as it is. I enjoyed every minute of it. There were even moments in the movie where Ewan looked and even sounded like Jack Nicholson in the Shining. Truly a masterpiece.
I like when the Easter egg vids are much longer. This movie was expertly done though! I enjoyed it as a sequel and wrap up for this story.
People who want a full cgi Jack Nicholson have watched too much marvel and star wars. This is true cinema. Watching the performance of a genuine actor. The acting was amazing in this scene. Henry did an excellent impression of Nicholson but most importantly he was a most convincing Jack Torrance. Acting at its finest.
