我々が管理しているグリーンフィールドという公園には利用制限が無いとよく言われますが、これは大きな誤解です。

しっかりした制限が設けてありますが、その基準が普通の公園と違うだけです。

普通は大きな看板にこと細かく書かれていて、利用者がその看板を見れば、何が良くて、何がいけないのかをすぐ分かります。

グリーンフィールドの場合はどうでしょう。

一人一人の利用者に自分の心の中にある常識と言う制限で自分の行動範囲を決めてもらうのがグリーンッスポーツ鳥取のやり方です。

大まかなガイドラインが存在しますが、細かい部分には一切触れないし、看板に書きません。確かに指示されることになれている利用者にとっては少し戸惑いますが私達は一貫して、利用者の常識を信じる管理を貫くつもりです。

Many people believe that Greenfield has no regulations governing the use of the park and activities within it. They would be wrong.

There are clear restrictions, but the standard differs from the normal park here in Japan.

Most parks have a large signboard and visitors understand immediately what they are permitted to do and what they are not by checking the board.

So what happens at Greenfield?

We adhere to the principle that each visitor determines his own limits based on his own understanding of what comprises commonsense.

We have prepared very rough guidelines but neither offer specific instructions nor list them on a signboard. Quite clearly, this creates some confusion among users who are used to being told specifically what is OK and what is not, but we are happy with our policy f trusting the commonsense of visitors to Greenfield.
