Yes can't wait to go see this.
I wasnt expecting the vampire/immortality themes, and some of the homages towards the end were kind of corny, cliched fan service, but overall this was an awesome movie. Would watch again.

Ewan McGregor is one of my favorite actors and this movie helped cement that. Ewan McGregor is always a win! He's still so charming and such a remarkable actor.
Ok you get a sub from me. I love your energy! You go through a lot of great content fast but throwing a litle comedy in there as well. 10/10 will recommend.

I like how people are bashing on this movie like the fools back in the day about the shining. XD dont be one of those people now.
These guys are old. how are they born in the early '1900s.
People who complained that Jack Nicolson didn't return I understand, but remember, Jack is retired and from what I've heard hes suffering from a mild case of potential alzheimers. However while Henry does a good job, a CGi deepfake would be nice to see. They probably didn't either out of respect for Jack or he asked for too much money to use his likeness which is ultimately his decision.

Ok first of all I never read the books I just go to the movies so I never knew until I saw this movie what the shining was and this movie filled in all the gaps that I didn't understand from the first one and I thought it was pretty good it did make me jump a few times in my seat which is really hard to do considering how desensitized I am from seeing so many I don't think people are giving this one enough credit by going to the theater to see it but I'm sure it will do better in video sales.

I love how the background noise slowly gets louder and more ominous as Lloyd/Jack gives his medicine speech, as if that's the moment when Jack is speaking instead of Lloyd.
Favorite scene in the movie.
Another cool little nod: the numbered address for Abra's home was 1980 - the year The Shining was released.

The only good thing was Rebecca Ferguson's Rose the Hat. An interesting villainess. Otherwise, all the action never really creates a compelling story. The scenes from the Overlook are genuine enough, but that's about it for this movie.

When I saw the monsters attacking Rose, I was shocked, I see every monster that Danny has locked away, like the bathroom lady, Delbert Grady, the creepy twins, and the great party isnt it man. I was excited to see those creatures But who were the other monsters? Who was that other lady? And the better question, what happened to the bear man.
