Thats what i thought of this movie. I like Paul Rud & Owen Wilson but neither of them could save this.
Nicholson did not belong in this movie and watching Reese Weatherspoons scrunched up face for 2 hours was painful.
I cant blame the actors. The story writers and director should be banned from making more films. br>
I gave it a 3 instead of one because Paul Rud is still a class act given the below par script he had to work with.
This was 2 years of my life that i wont be getting back, oops, i mean 2 hours, but it seemed like 2 years when i was watching it.
Avoid this movie.
I love Reese Witherspoon and almost all of the movies she has starred in so I was really looking forward to seeing this movie.
Sadly, I ended up being very disappointed.
The movie just dragged on and on.
To make matters worse, none of the characters in the storyline were very likable and I found myself not caring which love interest the female lead ended up with as both male leads were quite irritating.
As far as I am concerned, this movie was a total flop.
Don't bother wasting your money to see it - you will likely end up falling asleep.
Average average average, i found this movie to be slow and without point or humor. It took 2 hours to tell a 60 minute story. Reece Witherspoon was far from her usual sparkling entertaining self and I found it hard to sympathize with her confused character. Paul Rudd did what her could with the average material and Owen Wilson was a high point but his rantings and on screen antics didn't seem to tie in with the movie. For me not even the great Jack Nicholson could save this movie for me. His part was under valued and I don't think they really used his acting ability to the movies benefit. All in all a very average, very long, non funny 2 hour I'm never getting back.
