ハイビスカスやタイタンビスカスは花も大きく立派ですが、葉も大きく葉巻虫の餌食になりやすいのですね。つぼみのうちに食われてしまった花が開きました。一回り小さく、傷ついています。消毒をしないといけないか。大きく元気な花を咲かせるためには消毒は欠かせないと思いますが、その近くに一緒に暮らしている、カマキリや蜘蛛、さらにそのエサたちもいなくなってしまう。
