Doms associates are Miles former students, who Dom requires as he has given up being the dream architect for reasons he wont disclose. Doms primary associate, Arthur, believes it has something to do with Doms deceased wife, Mal, who often figures prominently and violently in those dreams, or Doms want to "go home" (get back to his own reality, which includes two young children). Doms work is generally in corporate espionage. As the subjects dont want the information to get into the wrong hands, the clients have zero tolerance for failure. Dom is also a wanted man, as many of his past subjects have learned what Dom has done to them. One of those subjects, Mr. Saito, offers Dom a job he cant refuse: to take the concept one step further into inception, namely planting thoughts into the subjects dreams without them knowing. Inception can fundamentally alter that person as a being. Saitos target is Robert Michael Fischer, the heir to an energy business empire, which has the potential to rule the world if continued on the current trajectory. Beyond the complex logistics of the dream architecture of the case and some unknowns concerning Fischer, the biggest obstacles in success for the team become worrying about one aspect of inception which Cobb fails to disclose to the other team members prior to the job, and Cobbs newest associate Ariadnes belief that Cobbs own subconscious, especially as it relates to Mal, may be taking over what happens in the dreams

My fav love story ever. the end scene where he confronts his wife, combined with that pingy piano refrain) is a really fascinating look at the psychology of letting someone go. I loved interstellar, and though the gun fire in inception got kinda irritatingly non stop for the last hour and a half or so, there's more character complexity in inception. interstellar is still a movie that fills me with awe. everytime I watch it I notice something else. and not a single weapon in the whole film. feel like it was a little over looked honestly.

Nolan attained cult status in Hollywood owing to his master screenplay and narrative in movies like Memento(2002. And his vision of the Batman series was a spectacle that both the fans and non-fans of the series' enjoyed alike. Now Nolan through his imagination has brought us a journey into the world of imagination itself. Inception is about the world of the dream and how to hack into your dreams… as well as others.

Central to the plot is a piece of tech, developed by the army, which enables people to share dreams. This is what Cobb(Dicaprio) and his associates use to commit mental heists. Cobb lands a job that needs him, not to steal an idea from someone's mind, but to place one there instead and make it seem self-generated by the subject himself. You can do that? This has never been done before but Cobb needs to do this to get back to his children.

This movie is not of the sit-back, relax and enjoy genre. It is fast paced and does not wait for you to understand what just happened. Unless you are totally alert, you will get lost. You have to keep track of dreams within dreams and it is not abundantly clear how things actually work in the dream world.

But the ten years that Nolan has supposedly put into the film definitely paid off. He masterfully communicates his vision with the audience. The plot has a lot of gaps which the viewer himself has to fill to make the narrative congruent. So this is definitely going to stay on your mind for a while even after you leave the theater.

The movie is visually stunning. The CG is seamless and top notch. All the actors render laudable performances. My favorite definitely though is Eames(Tom Hardy. He is a professional thief and an expert forger and extremely cool.

But Nolan is no expert at directing fight scenes. They do tend to wear you out as they are not very exciting in themselves. The movie definitely has quite a number of inconsistencies too. This surely must have been due to the short window of time in which Nolan had to present everything about this new world from conception to conclusion.

All in all this is a must watch for people who want to challenge their intellect. And as I've said before this not for one's with a faint heart as you might find yourself bored or completely confused unless you are extremely alert.

Christopher Nolan was one of my favorite director from the recent sequel of The Dark Knight. Then my friend said that Inception was a great film to watch. Then I start to watch it at first I don't really understand the plot or how the story goes on. Then I continue to watch, my mind become conscious about the movie. It was mind-blowing the graphics are awesome. Your mind will work because of the awesome story that I never thought it was worth watching. I can't stop watching it over and over again!

One of the greatest sci-fi films of all time. Great casting. Even though the whole story was all about dreams and the subconscious of our minds, it has a graphics that are super great that if it join together it brings up the movie worth watching.

Ben Affleck is a great Batman but Christian Bale will forever be The Dark Knight.

I remember watching this movie when it first came out. When it ended, I couldnt believe what I watched. The music, the ending, the whole genius of it. I literally stayed in my seat for a good 10 minutes after shaking my head, my mouth open with awe and amazement of this masterpiece. One of the best superhero movies ever made.
