I like 80's British pops because they remind me of my happy days when I had a lot of lot of dreams!

My favorite group when I was 16 or 17 years old was the Cure and Echo & the Bunnymen, but before that, the band which introduced me to British Pops was Duran Duran…

I liked their music but I liked them more from their looks. John Taylor was my favorite.

My favorite actors are Mel Gibson, Colin Firth & Hugh Grant.

I think John Taylor (when he was young) & Hugh Grant have something in common in their looks, but what do you think??

I was always afraid of seeing John Taylor at his current age because just after my love shifted from Duran Duran to the Cure etc., John started to gain weight… Then he was lost in my memory.

Recently I saw him on TV. He was still slim (thank God…) but not as good looking as before as far as I look at his face. When he was playing the base guitar on a video clip, his body movement still looked OK.

Hugh Grant is also getting old but he looks quite fine, I think. Maybe because he is more careful in maintaining his looks because he is actor??

These days they play Duran Duran often on the radio here in Belgium because they are coming to a festival. And, I will go to that concert thank to my “Kensho-O” husband who wins a lot of tickets for me (concerts/films).

Today my husband played a remix Duran Duran CD which I bought some time ago on sale. He tested me to see if I could tell the title of the song immediately by just listening to the introduction! The result was 100%! He was impressed…

The concert will take place on 25 June. I hope I will not get disappointed!!

By the way, thanks to Duran Duran I studied English hard… As a result, I could do a postgraduate study in the UK… not bad, is it not?
