マプト・プロトコル(マプト議定書)の原文、抜粋ですPROTOCOL TO THE AFRICAN CHARTER ON HUMAN ANDPEOPLES' RIGHTS ON THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN IN AFRICAThe States Parties to this Protocol,CONSIDERING that Article 66 of the African Charter on Human andPeoples' Rights provides for special protocols or agreements, ifnecessary, to supplement the provisions of the African Charter, andthat the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of theOrganization of African Unity meeting in its Thirty-first OrdinarySession in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in June 1995, endorsed byresolution AHG/Res.240 (XXXI) the recommendation of the AfricanCommission on Human and Peoples' Rights to elaborate a Protocol onthe Rights of Women in Africa;(中略)DETERMINED to ensure that the rights of women are promoted,realised and protected in order to enable them to enjoy fully all theirhuman rights;HAVE AGREED AS FOLLOWS:(Article 1~13略す)近藤Article 14Health and Reproductive Rights1. States Parties shall ensure that the right to health of women,including sexual and reproductive health is respected and promoted.This includes:a) the right to control their fertility;b) the right to decide whether to have children, the number ofchildren and the spacing of children;c) the right to choose any method of contraception;d) the right to self-protection and to be protected againstsexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS;e) the right to be informed on one's health status and on thehealth status of one's partner, particularly if affected withsexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, inaccordance with internationally recognised standards andbest practices;g) the right to have family planning education.2.
