Anatomy Of A Rib Kick
Current mood: Sill hurt'n (今の気分:まだ痛みます) Category: Sill hurt'n Sports Today i went to the usual Jiu-Jitsu class. Class & training was good. The next class was Thai Boxing. Coach Ken had us do several punch/kick/block combos and had the participants finish the class off with some light sparring. My first match was a good opponent. We both connected with shots and rocked eachother a few times. During the match i heard the jiu-jitsu coach Marc yell out "Brandon just took some ICE (crystal-meth), he's fighting relentless! Coach Ken said he was surprised from some of the things i was doing. I figured i was done for the day. I left the mat area & started removing my gear. Ken told me get water and "spar" him next. Of couse he wasent out to unleash the fury on me. What did come was some of the hardest side kicks i have ever felt. ここは横蹴り(サイドキック)ではなく、まわし蹴り、詳しく言えば左中段回し蹴りをムエタイ風に相手の死角にスライドインしながらスネでパチンと当てたものでした。サンドマンは技の名前を間違えてブログにコメントを受け、拳に電話で直されていました。 When doing a side kick, you turn you'r front foot out from you'r body and use the torque hip momentem to knock the fuck out of you'r opponent with the back foot/shin. Ken did this very well on me, several times. After he block whatever shots i took to him, he would blast me with some punches (some might have been blocked, most wernt.) What was to follow were side kicks refrered to by Marc as "Shots that are making him hate life!" And that i was. It felt like my ribs were compressing against my insides. Air was leaving my body and not comming back. Aside from the utter pain, I could hear spectaitors with their "OOOOOHHHSS" & "AHHHHSSS" as each shot hit. One hit the sweet spot so well, i almost crumbled to the mats. Instead, i cringed a little, smiled with nervousness & glanced at the clock to see how much time remains in my beatdown. もす、みたいなもんですねー。おおーーーっしゅ、あうーーっす。 Ken was going easy on me, but was letting me know what shots were available and taking them. I did learn that its good not to take kicks to the body. And that when a kick connects to the body, it hurts... a lot. When it was all said & done, i had the best sparring session. I thanked Ken for the ass-whoopen and said we do it again soon! On a side note, i got a call from a friend who was feeling ill. Just remember... papaya & lime. Good stuff. written by sandman お気に入りの記事を「いいね!」で応援しよう
