東京メトロ東西線を走る05系電車は数多くのバリエーションが存在することで有名な電車。すべてのバリエーションが撮れたので紹介したいと思う。
鉄道車両は大抵製造された年によって○次車とグループ分けされるが、ここでは大きく6つのタイプに分けた。 Tokyo Metro Tozai Line 05 Series has many variations. I could take photos of all variation. Railway rolling stocks are often categorized by constructed year, but here 05 Series are classified into 6 general groups.  タイプ1（005F） 1988（昭和63）年に登場した初期タイプ。1次車から4次車が該当する。標準的な4ドアの通勤型電車。 Type 1 is made between 1988 and 1991 (1st to 4th models). The standard 20-meter long and 4-door commuter train.  タイプ2（016F） 1991（平成3）年に登場。混雑緩和のため1.8m幅のワイドドアを備える。このタイプから行先表示がLEDになった。4次車と5次車が該当。4次車の014編成は05系で初めてVVVF制御を採用。 Type 2 is made between 1991 and 1992 (014F of 4th model and 5th model). To decrease congestion, this model has 1.8-meter wide doors. They also introduce a variable frequency drive control system (014F only) and LED destination indicator.  タイプ3（019F） 1993（平成5）年登場。千代田線の06系電車、有楽町線の07系電車に合わせた寸法を取り入れた。座席がこれまでの3-7-7-7-3から、4-6-7-6-4に変更されている。このタイプからVVVF制御を本格的に取り入れた。6次車と7次車が該当。 Type 3 are made between 1993 and 1994 (6th and 7th models). Their size changed the same as 06 Series on Chiyoda Line and 07 Series on Yurakucho Line. They started to introduce VFD control system.  タイプ3'（024F） 1994（平成6）年登場。7次車の024編成1編成だけが該当。廃車になった5000系電車のアルミ部品を再利用した「アルミリサイクルカー」。それ以外はタイプ3と同一。 Type 3' is made in 1994 (024F of 7th model only). Several aluminium parts are recycled from retired carriage and it nicknamed "Aluminum Recycle Car".  タイプ4（028F） 1999（平成11）年登場。顔つきが大きく変わったいわゆる「新05系」の初期タイプ。側面の寸法はタイプ3と同じ。8次車～10次車が該当。 After 5 years blank since 024F debuted, 05 Series fully changed its front and machinery. 05 Series after this type is commonly nicknamed "New 05 Series". Type 4 is the first model of New 05 Series made between 1999 and 2001 (8th to 10th models). The size of them are the same as type 3.  タイプ5（039F） 2002（平成14）年登場。半蔵門線の08系電車に合わせて「通勤・近郊電車の標準仕様ガイドライン」に沿って寸法を見直し、座席配置もタイプ3・4のものからタイプ1と同じ3-7-7-7-3に戻った。パンタグラフがシングルアーム式に変更されている。11次車・12次車が該当。 Type 5 is made between 2002 and 2003(11th and 12th models). They introduced some elements of 08 Series on Hanzomo Line, the new standard size of commuter trains (length between 2 doors 3520mm) and single-arm pantograph.  タイプ6（041F） 東京メトロに民営化した後の2004（平成16）年登場。日立製作所の「A-Train」の技術を取り入れ、後に東武50000系電車や東京メトロ10000系電車にも登場する鴨居と一体型の手すりをドア横に備える。ドア上のLEDが全扉配置から千鳥配置に変わった。13次車が該当。東葉高速鉄道2000系電車はこのタイプの兄弟車。 Type 6 is made in 2004 (13th model), the first model after privatization. They introduced A-train technology of HITACHI.
