 月見櫓（着見） This three storyed, Iriomoyazukuri style, Hongawara tiled roof, Sonurigomezukuri turret小塔 has a unique design,with a plover千鳥 gable破風 on the first floor, a Chinese style gable 唐破風on the second floor and two black painted Nageshis on the white outer wall of each floor.It was designated as an important cultural asset in 1950. 艮櫓 This three-storyed Iriomoyazukuri style turret was located at a very important position in the northeast of the place. The roof is tiled with Hongawara tile. Its main feature特徴 is the big plover gable on the first floor. It was designated as an important cultural asset in 1950.  Takamatsu Castle was one of three major castles in Japan protected by the sea. Built facing the Seto Inland Sea瀬戸内海 on the north and surrounded by moats filled with sea water on its remaining three sides,it looked as though it were floating on the waves. With the end of the feudal period in the mid nineteenth century,however, the castle fell into disrepair 荒れるand was demolished. 取り壊すThe ruins are now maintained as Tamamo Park.  水門 Though the moat of this castle is directly connected with the sea, the level of the water in the moat is kept invariable一定の despite にもかかわらずthe change of tides潮の干満 by handling this gate. Many black sea breams,チヌタイ grey mullets ボラand other salt water fishes are to be found in the moat. 鞘橋 This bridge is the only junction linking the castle tower(donjon） and Ninomaru house. It used to be a parapet 手すりbridge, but was remade to this one in the period of Matsudaira clan. 披雲閣 The grand residence in the premise 家屋敷comprise から成り立つthe grand 142-tatami mat drawing 張り詰める△引っ張るroom and many other rooms named Room of Podocarpus,マキRoom of Pine松, Room of Cycad ソテツetc.including Room of Waves, in which the late Emperor and Empress Showa stayed twice.       にほんブログ村
