わかどりのヤキトリ日記

われながら結構楽しく生きているわかどりではあるが、
実はわかどりはとっても貧乏である。
先日、郵便局で５万円下ろそうと思ったら、
『残額がたりません』と画面に出てきて、
残高を改めて確認してみたら８千円しかないことがわかった。
At first, I thought there is not any fun to live in north-eastern part of Japan.
Life in Morioka-city is actually fun.
This was the good miscalculation.
But there was a bad miscalculation, too.
I thought that living cost here is much more cheaper.
The housing is not much cheaper than I expected,
and foods are actually as expensive as Tokyo.

先月使ったクレジットカード請求書は、
『自動引き落としの残額が足りませんでした』ってことで、
振込用紙がくっついてきていたので、
銀行のお金も空っぽらしい。
でも、そんなわかどりでも、生きていけるのだから、
日本は結構いい国だと思う。
Although it't not that I'm very poor,
but I started to think about saving money soon after I came to Morioka-city.
I decided not to eat at restrant.
Because if you go to restrant for every meal,
you have to pay as much as 800 bahts everyday for 3 meals.

で、そんなわかどりは正直あんまり外食する余裕はなくて、
自動的に自炊しなければならないことになるのである。
とりあえず、卵ともやしは安いので毎回メニューに入れるとして、
残りの食材も安く手に入れなければならない。
安く食材を手に入れるためにわかどりが行き着いたのは、
『閉店間際のイオンの生鮮食品』である。
モリオカのイオンは閉店が２３時なので、
とりあえず１０時半頃に食品売り場に行くと
結構いろんなものに半額シールが貼ってあるのだ。
And it means that I have to make something to eat by myself.
At the same time, I had to learn how to buy cheap materials for food.
First, I learned that Bean-sprout (7bahts) and eggs (4bahts each)
are very cheap, thinking of it's high nutrition.
So I started to eat them everyday.
Before long I learned that if I go to supermarket 30 minutes before closing,
many things starts to be discounted.
Storemen come around 10:30 PM to put 50% off seals to vegetables and meats,
because they will not last long.

特にわかどりが好んで買うのは、魚のアラ系である。
アラは、そもそも安い上に痛むのが早いので、
売れ残れば確実に半額になるのだ。しかもうまい。
モリオカに来てそろそろ１ヶ月になるが、
多分、わかどりの体の蛋白質の半分以上はイオンの魚のアラと卵由来であると思う。
まさにバファリンに含まれる『優しさ成分』に匹敵するほどである。
（だから何なのだろう・・・・）
I especially favors raw fish meat, which are out of shape for selling.
They are very cheap from the beginning.
Also, they deteriorates fast, which means
their 50% discount prices are almost promised if they are not sold in time.
And what the most, they are delicious.
I've been here in Morioka almost 1 month.
My body protein should be mostly derived from 50% discount fish and eggs by now.

と、言うわけでわかどりは今日も夜１０時半まで空腹を堪えて
魚のアラを物色しにイオンに行くのである。
And that's the reason why I go to the supermarket at 10:30 today.
