Creating a skull 1 (definition of spatial coordinates)I'm going to make a skull out of clay.First of all, it's a method of duplicating an existing model. When sculpting, the first thing you need is the definition of space.Divide space by hexahedron.Where should we put the starting point? This definition of the origin will be most important for future production. The force that expands outward from the center is received by clay from the outside and defined by the point at which it maintains its equilibrium All forces of clay from the outside go toward equilibrium with the forces expanding from the central origin. It isPascal's law.The origin is determined by the orthogonal points of X, Y, and Z. In the case of the skull,Find the X-axis on the axis passing through both jaw joints. The Y-axis synchronizes with the gravitational line. From the front, it is easily found from the center of symmetry. From the side, it is determined from the center of the first cervical vertebrae, to the top of the head that intersects and extends the X-axis.Then, where do you take the Z axis of depth? It is an axis that runs back and forth from the intersection of the X and Y axes. The line goes through the origin and is orthogonal to the X and Y axes, but if you look at it from there, there are individual differences. Then, by correcting the X-axis up and down, the person finds and defines the origin that he or she has.In the front, you should put your nose around the nasal cavity from the anterior end of the nasal bone.Behind, look for an axis orthogonal to the origin with the external occipital protuberance as its base. These three axes define the origin of the individual. This origin will never be changed when manufacturing.Even if you change the shape during production, we will always try not to lose sight of the origin. From a three-sided view, you can follow the outline and make it into a polyhedron or polygon. However, there is a difference between having this origin and not having it.1,Origin and gravitational lines.2,A hexahedron form derived from it.3,and hexahedron space.Gravity, form, and space. I think knowing or not knowing this is the turning point as a sculptor. But what I really want to make is life and soul.I want to create a human spirit that is in shape.
